Photo update of Oasis Cancun from Funjet Vacations traveler, Courtney Patt

Here are some photos and feedback we recently received from one of our guests. We hope you will find this update helpful when you are planning your next trip into Cancun.

The following photos were taken at the Oasis Cancun on February 20th, 2006 by Funjet Vacations traveler, Courtney Patt.

"Before we left for Cancun, someone told us that we might encounter some construction at our hotel, so we were expecting to hear some noises by the pool and by the beach. To our surprise, we hardly heard anything and we barely noticed any construction happening on the property. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were always happy and having a good time!"

"Here is a picture of my friends and me in the pool. All of the pools were really nice and I am pleased to report that the drinks from the swim up bars were always very refreshing and tasty!"

"These guys were the best! They went from table to table serenading the guests during lunch and dinner. Very entertaining!"

"This pool had two swim up bars. Most of the spring breakers hung out here-while we spent all our time at the pool by the Grand Oasis, which wasn't as loud and seemed to be a popular spot for families and couples."

"This was one of the long pools on the property. We thought the pools would be really busy, but I think the size of the pools really helped prevent things from every feeling crowded. We went down to the pool at 9 or 10am every day and had no problem finding chairs for a group of 5 all together."

"Here is a picture from one of the decks overlooking the ocean. During our trip we walked up and down the beach several times and we thought Oasis Cancun had the largest beach front; but overall, there was plenty of space if you wanted to be in the sun or under a papala."

I am so glad you had a great time in Cancun. We just returned home on Feb 16th from the Hilton Cancun Resort and Spa. It was quite a site. The resort had 2 pools, 1 we found the day before we left, but both pools were like ice water. The beach we were promised was non-exsisant. I think the worse thing we encounted was the time share people, at the airport and the first thing we seen at our hotel. WE even listened to the rattle windows and construction workers all night. I dont think i will be returning to Cancun for some time.

We are sorry to hear about your experience in Cancun; unfortunately, our records show that the Hilton Cancun Resort and Spa will not be reopening until May, 2006.

Is it possible you stayed at another hotel?
